ISS Contacting via 2 Meters
Hi there my name is Harry. I have been trying to do some voice work on the ISS but haven't been getting any responses. I am using the input of 144.490 and output of 145.800 FM of course. I am using Satscape with latest keps. I am using a Yaesu VX-170 ht. I did work ISS very nicely months ago when I was using an ICOM IC-02AT so I know it has nothing to do with the type of radio I am using. I live in southwestern British Columbia, Canada. Any help or info. would be appreciated. 73's from VE7HCP

STS-115 READY FOR LAUNCH
The crew for mission STS-115 arrived back at NASA's Kennedy Space Center's Shuttle Landing Facility on Saturday morning to prepare for launch of Atlantis on Sept. 6. Mission managers cancelled Atlantis' first launch campaign due to a lightning strike at the pad and the passage of Tropical Storm Ernesto along Florida's east coast.
