ARISS Event - Ft. Ross Elementary, California Fri. 15 April
Received from Scott H. Stevens, N3ASA:
The next International Space Station's Expedition 10 ARISS school contact will be with students at the Ft. Ross Elementary School in Cazadero, California on Friday, 15 April 2005. The event is scheduled to begin at approximately 18:07 UTC.
This contact will be direct between stations NA1SS and WA6M, so it should be audible to anyone in western portions of the United States listening in on the 145.80 MHz downlink.
Happy Birthday John
Today, April 15, is the birthday of the Nasa ISS Science Officier John Phillips, 54 years old. The Expedition 11 will enjoy this moment in Space.
Roberto Vittori on the air soon
Sergei told us, also, that he will help Vittori, IZ6ERU, to do other contacts after the two scheduled with italian schools. He can't promise that but he will try for sure.
Exp. 11 on its way to the ISS. Voice operations expected soon.
Expedition 11 has just took off from Baikonur onboard the Soyuz capsule.
Sergei told us on the phone that he wants to do voice contacts... let's hope he will have time to do so!
