The weather in the UK has not been very good of late.As a result , the recent visible passes made by the station have been clouded out.However I did manage to record a couple of fleeting glimpses a few days ago .

I received intermiteing Packet tones in Lower alabama usa on July 21 04 between 2142-2151(utc).Antenna used omni-discone with swr 1:5.J-trak close approach at less than 450 miles. 73,wpzz463

Nasa Television expands reach with satellite switch July 24

Space News

NASA Television will improve coverage to viewers in Alaska and Hawaii as well as the continental United States when it switches its signal from one satellite to two different ones.

July 19th

Engineers test the first engine for Nasa's return to flight mission

Space Shuttle

The test today was the first on a complete Space Shuttle Main Engine (SSME) that will be used on the Return to Flight mission. The engine will be shipped to NASA's Kennedy Space Center for installation on the Space Shuttle Discovery.
