Description:
Hit the digipeater again this morning at 1230Z when I was fooling around with the setup. I was startled to get a return packet from 3100kms to the SW of my QTH when the ISS was -7° below the horizon. Weird! Also hit it at 0246Z on a more respectable pass.

ISS Dx?

ARISS

Has anybody experienced DX on the ISS? I noticed this first a couple years ago when a couple of times we contacted the digipeater when it was below the horizon, according to Instant Tracker. This morning I hit it again at 1230Z when it was 3100kms SW of our QTH and -7° below the horizon. That's amazing! On a student-built single-element quad-loop antenna!

November 1st - the fourth anniversary

ISS News

Each crew aboard the International Space Station discovers more and more about what it takes to live and work in space for long periods of time. This year, the fourth for humans continuously staffing the Station since the arrival of Expedition 1 on November 2, 2000, has proven to be an exceptional example.

Great to see APRS on the ISS up and running again. We hit it a lot two years ago. We see it here from 1500kms north as it peeks over the southern horizon. DE VYØDU ...Orin
