I am seeing that connecting to www.issfanclub.com actually redirects to www.alain.it
And some content filtering packages block access due to adult materials. Any idea what is happening ? Has the site (issfanclub) been compromised, or is intentionally or unintentionally redirecting to www.alain.it ?

Our club H.A.L. Scouts Group Amateur Radio Club (VU2LKO), Lucknow, India is coordinating the ARISS School contact programme at following schools:

1. Vidya Mandir Inter College, Meerut, India - 20-25th Aug 2018
2. Sri Timli Vidyapeeth, Pauri, India - 27-31Aug. 2018
3. Study Hall School, Lucknow, India - 03-06 Sept. 2018
4. Templeton Academy International, Nainital, India - 19-24th Nov.2018

Some schools want to do live webcast of their programme on internet.

Hence, we would like to know the exact procedure to do the same.

Hi,

I am new to this ISS lark so it took me AGES to find the Station's packet callsign. This is totally unnecessary as you have a Captcha too.

11 april : Russian SSTV Event to Celebrate Cosmonautics Day

ARISS Russia is planning a special Slow Scan Television (SSTV) event from the International Space Station in celebration of Cosmonautics Day.

The transmissions are to begin on April 11 at 11:30 UTC and run through April 14 ending at 18:20 UTC.

Hi all. Love this website and used to really enjoy the ability to predict a pass of the ISS, but the function has disappeared and I would love it if you could reintroduce this. I'm using windows 10 and Microsoft edge browser.

A real good Antenna would be a 2 meter Quad, and a 70cm quad both will work well. For 2 meter quad use a 21-1/4" element length that is 5.28" per side. This is the reflector on a 1/2 diam. boom. The Driven element will be 20 1/2" (5.125)" and the director 1 will be 5.031" and director 2 will be 5.031" per each side. The length of the boom will depend of the tightness of the beam received and transmit pattern . Typical length would be 4 to 6 feet. You can adjust the spacing as to your desire. And the Same principle for 70 cm . Put them up once to tested them with the Antenna analyzer.
