ISS contact

Hello,

We are a group of Teachers and Students, currently in an Astronomy Camp. We would like to make contact with the crew from ISS, just to say hello and to wish them good luck. Does somebody know how can we get in contact with them? We don't have any high performance radio equipment, so we were thinking at an e-mail.

Thanks and have a nice day!

Why ISS will not move with linear motion?

Goodmorning everyone,
I would like to understand why the movement of the ISS (or in my opinion seems) vibrating:
It seems that it moves jerkily, not a linear movement.
This can be observed both to the naked eye, using one of the many sites that transmit the USTREAM channel of the station.

Thanks a lot!

Visible Pass

Always breathtakingly beautiful. Brightest object in the sky. Nice pass ISS!
Even if I can't say hi by ham radio I can at least hear that lightning fast silence slide by in a twinkle and a wiggle before tucking back into the vapors.

Flash of Light

For years now I've been watching the ISS pass over where I live. This morning at approximately 6:26am I saw a flash of light around or behind the ISS. What could have caused this as I know the ISS has no flashing lights? Thanks.

ISS follower

Hi Forum, I'm a newbie and saw tonight (2014-08-08) that something is following the Station. Google didn't help me, so what could that be? Is it the ATV "Georges Lemaitre"?

2 Objects above last nights pass in Tennessee

A few Amateur Radio operators were talking about the next ISS pass would be around 9.00 Central last night. I had company over to visit so we decided to go out and watch the ISS pass. It was coming from the south west and moving north east , as we were watching we also spotted 2 moving objects above the ISS many miles above both looked alike with the naked eye, shape, color, etc. As the ISS was straight over head we watched the 2 other objects one was on the ISS track, but passed and went due east 10,000 times faster than the ISS, the other object went due south at the same speed.

Where has the predicted pass gone?

I have lost the ability to predict a pass from the ISS on the ISS fan club page. Is it just me or has there been a change made. Please bring it back, I miss it Under the picture of the iss, there used to be a prediction of the next passes, but this appears to have disappeared. I am using windows 7, internet browser 11 and it just isn't there, but if I access the issfanclub page through my ipad, the prediction bit is there.

Am I doing something wrong?

How to get ISS Fan Club location to work?

Hi,

ISS Fan Club says my location is Little Rock, which it isn't, but then says "click here" to change it. A box comes up telling me to type my location in, and hit search. So far, so good. It finds my location, and for some reason wants me to click on it (an unnecessary step), and when I do the mouse pointer turns into a fist and I can do no more.

This is obviously a broken interface. Can anyone tell me how I can set my location by simply entering a latitude and longitude? Either that, or when the graphical version is expected to work again?

73!

Paul.
