The LST 325 is a World War II museum ship. She is the last of her kind in the world that still sails under her own power. On 9-7-2010 at 2224 Z we made contact with the ISS from the ship's radio room.
What a moment it was. A world war II ship talking to a 2010 space ship. What an honor.
