What's New in UISS Version 3.3
------------------------------

- BBS functions enhanced, reviewed and new commands added:

//S send messages, //L list messages, //R read messages

//REMOTE xxx remote control password, //MHEARD send Mheard list

//BEACON ON/OFF enable or disable UISS beacon

//TERMINATE terminate UISS (program will shut down)

Messages and bulletins are stored in a separate directory for easy use and more

- Several remote control commands (password protected) added to the BBS, like

activate/deactivate the UISS beacon, let UISS send the Mheard list and

terminate UISS (shut down UISS completely)…

- Distorted packets when longer then the maximum length is fixed

- Alarm when receiving a personal message (APRS message)

- The Mheard list is saved with time and date stamp

- The date stamp is added in the Autolog and changes automatically

when the date changes

- UISS Add-on capabilities enhanced and more versatile!

This will allow UISS to be build up with "modules" to enhance the features

(compare it like ISS which becomes more powerful, extensive and versatile

as new modules are connected to it). UISS can be used in your own programs too!

- Auto-calculate UTC time with a simple click of a button (and automatic when

UISS is installed for the first time)

- Autodisconnect is remembered when re-starting UISS

- AGW radioport confirmation only if changed (monitor window)

- New option: Remove Double = to remove/fix any packets that are displayed

twice (fixes some soundcard problems, XP-compatibility when using a soundcard

and/or when having an idle AGW-port)

- New option: Disable only the alarm sound used in the AutoLog (header and data alarm)

- New option: Ignore calls you don’t want to be transmitted via the Mheard list

- When using the UISS upgrade; the error "Run-Time error '13'-Type mismatch" is fixed

- Filter default setting in ini

- Optimized code for improved speed on slower computers

- When connecting a station, the UI-monitor functions keeps it defaults

(To- and Via-box stays the same)

- Spanish help file (CX2PI)

- UTC Clock leading zero fixed

- The Mheard list total count when removing calls is fixed

- Pressing ESC-key closes every option windows.

- And general debugging, optimized code and improvements

What's New in UISS Version 3.2

- The current Mheard list can be used as a Becaon text.

- Right mouse click in the Mheard list is enhanced with:

-Send Mheard list as “Heard :"

-Send Mheard list as “BLN0QSLs :"

- Confirmation when changing active AGW radio port.

- Connection dialog window totally reviewed with:

-Connect via digipeater .

-Direct connection where the callsign can be switched (between Via and To).

-Fast Direct connection to RS0ISS-1 or any other sat/node with -1 access.

-Direct connection with changeable callsign to connect (you can enter any callsign).

- Remove unwanted entries in the "To:"- "Via:"- and "For:" fields.

- Change volume settings of your soundcard.

- Record voice passages of ISS etc..

- Changeable soundrecorder or mixer (volume) with any program you want.

- UTC clock.

- Disconnect button added.

- The alarm sound effect is now separated in a sound for data found in

the Header and one for the Data.

- Log all found packet frames to disk when found with the UISS Alarm.

- Hard disconnect in the "Send" menu

- Some Icons wasn’t made transparent; has been fixed

- Disable/Enable soundeffects.

- When using the Alarm function and the sound effects are disabled

then a dialog window will inform you that the data is found

instead of a sound. These found packets can be auto-saved to disk

- Female voice announces connecting, disconnecting and alarms.

- Maximum length in APRS- and Mheard list truncated

- And some more minor improvements.

Bug removed in the connection dialog: When the pressing cancel in the

connect dialog window it acted as if you pressed OK, but only after you made a

connection before with the connect dialog window

- Beacon improved with:

- selectable beacon data to transmit.

- rotating sequence during each next beacon transmissions

of TX-data, APRS Pos., APRS Message or a file.

- Use a file to transmit as beacon text. This also allows software

developers to make "live" data programs to be used in UISS.

You can create as many beacon files as you want!

- Compatible with "Virtual Weather Station"(VWS) as beacon data

to broadcast weather reports in APRS format.

- Add APRS position to the data of the beacon selected file.

- Beacon data file will be refreshed on every beacon interval.

- Calculating the hours and minutes from the beacon seconds interval.

- New Beacon menu and dialog.

- Easy fast connection type dialog when connecting in digipeater mode.

You'll be able to select the type of connection; direct or digipeater

- Remove a call sign from the Mheard list.

- Easy AGW Port selector in Monitor.

- Now 5 AGW Ports selectable.

- Extra right-mousebutton options for faster access.

- Paste selected Mheard call into the "To:", "Via:" and "For:" fields

with your right mousebutton.

- Date is used as default filename to save Monitor contents.

- Now clear the connect screen with one click.

- SWL mode debugged.

- BBS password bug removed.

- Automated Beacon(for registered users) will now be found in the new

Beacon Settings menu.

- The very rare 'Out of memory error' in the connect window is now
