Mattie (KD7SDF, IFC#897) has just passed her general licence exam!

This very remarkable achievement probably makes her the youngest general class licence holder ever (just 6 years old).Mattie already has enjoyed some good HF contacts, including Haru JA1CG in Tokyo, Bill WL7NR in Alaska, Ivan VE7IVN in Cape Beale Lighthouse (he is the

lighthouse keeper) and Barbara KH6BB, operating from the radio room on the Battleship USS Missouri in Pearl Harbour.

She is a fourth generation ham in her family and thanks to the help of her father, she is constantly active on ISS passes trying to contact the Crew.
