The Registration was done by using a simple Baofeng UV-3R transceiver and a vertical 5/8 lambda antenna placed on the balcony. Unfortunately I was not able to understand whom Samantha was talking to.
The registration has been done during a time window where ISS was over Italy, I am located in Florence and my call sign is i5fip.

Hi, this is the first sstv signal that I received from my lab (Intelligent Space Systems laboratory-9G2AA) in Ghana, on saturday, 6th of September 2014. The frequency was 144.802Mhz. There is pause at the beginning of the recording when I was trying to send voice uplink to the ISS. Still trying to decode it and still trying to make voice contact with them. I removed the breaks in the audio in other to reduce the size of the audio

Audio of QSO between WD9EWK and NA1SS during the 2014 ARRL Centennial Convention in Hartford, Connecticut (USA), on 19 July 2014 at 1419 UTC. WD9EWK was located outside the Connecticut Convention Center, standing in the center of Hartford (grid FN31ps), using a Kenwood TH-D72A and Elk Antennas handheld 2m/70cm log periodic antenna.
