faulty tmd700 on the iss - voice crossband repeater mode

i understand that although the tmd700 is working is has a fault condition

a possible solution would be to reprogam the radio using a laptop
and people are trying to get the project approved
but it is difficult

like many others i would like to see it back on crossband repeater mode

the tmd700 is not manually easy to program even when you have the manual in front of
you and you are on the ground

we live in hope

ISS Fan Club Logo needed

Hello all.

We still don't have a logo. I am sure that out there we have some skilled and creative designers who might be willing to help.
The competition for the IFC logo is officially started.
The winner will receive credit having a tiny "IFC LOGO CREATED BY ..." on the logo itself.

Fell free to post your proposals here or mail them directly to me: alain at alain dot it
Thanks!

Alain

Hi, On 08:40UTC pass - continious activity in Russian on 130.167FM - Note however that even on wide band FM, one of the speakers is coming through so loud as to cause over-deviation in my receiver. Wonder how wide the signal is supposed to be? And no - not a doppler issue. 73s Keith, ZS6TW
